Thank you cards and March Card swap.

After all the baby gifts and meals I received I was in need of thank you cards to give so I went to my stash of cards that I have been getting from my monthly card swap and found that I only had 5 thank you cards so I had to make my own.

Here is what I came up with. I think they turned out really cute. Now my only problem is, is that we are doing thank you cards in one of the up coming months so now I have to come up with a new idea dang it.

I also have card swap coming up so I finished putting together my cards. I have had them cut out and mostly assembled since November, but I had to add the finishing touches I guess you could say.

Our theme for this month is actually friendship, but I made these before we had decided on the monthly themes.I assumed it would be Easter because that is what it was last year, but I guess I was wrong. Too bad they are all getting them anyway because I did not want to make new cards.

 I think they turned out pretty cute.

February card swap

I am in a card swap group with 12 ladies and each month we have a theme and make 12 cards for that theme and then we get together and swap cards and we come home with 12 different cards. This months theme was Baby so here is my card I made

boy ones.

I am not excited how they turned out. I guess they are ok, but it seems to me like something is missing. If you look close(but not too close because my stitching is awful) you may notice that I sewed the straps, and pockets on with my machine.
